Notable Normals
- 5B(c): combos into C Bakuenryu, but only really close and it is character specific (can also be easier against specific crouching opponents).
- 5B(f): good poke with special cancel (no combo)
- 5C(f): 2 hits, both are overhead. Can be used to evade throws or lows (hard).
- 66B: low hit, soft knockdown. Used mostly in combos, eg. after a deep j.C.
- 2C: good sweep with high damage. Can be recoil-cancelled.
- 66C: overhead crossup. Can go over many attacks and even projectiles, like Haohmaru's.
- 5D: OK anti-air with kara-cancel
- 6D: low hit, soft knockdown
- 3D: sweep with good range
- 66D: insanely fast low hit with soft knockdown
Specials
- Wall 3/9: Triangle Jump.
- j.4/6D: Air throw.
- 214S: projectile. A version has the most startup but travels the farthest.
- (d.)623S: command grab.
- j.236S: shuriken throw. Overhead. Good chip damage. Very unsafe, even on hit.
- 22S: teleport fake.
- 421A/B/C/D: teleports to different locations.
- 6321AD: teleport into overhead.
- 6321CE: teleport into low.
- 222AE: calltrops. do not cause hit stun but deal damage. They can be blocked if jumped into, but only with high guard (yes, they are overhead..)
- 6464642BCD: invisibility. Very long startup.
- 6464642AD: teleport out of hitstun into overhead
- 6464642CE: teleport out of hitstun into low
- 6464642E (SS2): SD Transformation.

Wenn man zusätzlich mit dem 6464642-counter weitere motions eingibt oder Buttons drückt, kann man den Move instant in einen anderen canceln, zb. in den 236AB/236BC Super, oder invisibility. Videos hier und [hier
Guard Cancel Bug
- Im Ken Groove kann man mit z.B. 623,1A+B einen Perfect Guard auslösen, der sofort in 623A gecancelt wird, z.B. auf wakeup. Geht auch mit anderen Special Moves wie 236BC, und sogar mit air grab (aus stehendem Perfect Guard)
